The Reason For The Season

title

A story of resurrection. No, not one with a bearded dude coming out of the ground for extra nights of partying, but rather a story of photographic redemption. It goes a little something like this…

There’s a poem after the break (how’s that for a tease?)

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through downtown

Not a Vermin was stirring ’cause the alphas threw down.

The garlands were hung on the windows with care

Just to be torn down later in a fireman’s scare.

The children were buzzing from mules in their heads

While O-69 chants finished bingo card spreads.

But when the merriment ended, all retired for the night

A Graham was left without a portrait in sight.

So next night they convened, and again got to drinkin’

With a Polaroid in hand, his resolve was unweakened.

Now! Lauren, now! Sarah, now! Robly and Leslie!

On! Tabi, on! Steve on Grahmmy and Ansley!

To the tip of the porch! Go stand by that wall!

Now look away! Pose away! Laugh away all!
