As any self-preserving boyfriend will tell you, behind every man there’s a great woman. And while I’d love to sit here and tell you I’m solely responsible for teaching the young pup all he knows, the same rings true for prince Oli. The momma is quite literally the reason we have a frenchie to come home too, but more importantly the reason that this frenchie has turned into such an adorable little creature.

If you haven’t already heard, I’m kind of a big deal. And being the bid deal that I am, I was cordially invited by Glamour magazine to come model for their upcoming February issue. OK, so maybe they were running a feature on Glamour employees and their boyfriends, and maybe they were more enamored with Oliver than I, but either way I ended up within the pages of a nationally circulated magazine. As it turned out, they only needed Oliver and I for about 10 minutes, while the rest of the time we kicked back and watched Lauren work it better than Hansel on a razor. Moving from California to New York, I have come to realize that sunlight is something I have taken for granted. But every so often, in the waning moments of the late afternoon, friendly rays slip into the apartment to creep across the floors of 7S. Oli seems to enjoy basking in the temporary glow, and I enjoy documenting his happiness.

A couple posts ago, I wrote about my foray into flash photography. I admit it…I lied. I haven’t stopped using flash, I’ve just changed subjects. I proudly present Frenchie Noir, a stark departure from the “cuteness” that has come to define the miniature menace, but awesome nonetheless. Thank you Oliver, for putting up with me.

An all monochrome look at the young pup. Is it just me, or is Frenchie Friday slowly becoming a dominant force on the blog? Does anyone object? Thats what I though…

Even Hurricane Sandy can’t stop Frenchie Friday! This weeks edition stretches back to the first time I laid eyes on young Oliver, five fantastic frenchie photos from days of yore.
