“I’m going to tell you something to tell your sister…and its going to sound cold, and harsh.” His silky voice had our full attention, and he knew it. Lauren and I leaned forward in eager anticipation, the pleather towncar interior breaking the silence with awkward squealing. “You……..Are in Georgia Now.” I still have no idea what he meant (and I’m pretty sure he was a reincarnated version of James Earl Jones as the blind beast owner in The Sandlot), but the vexing advice kicked off an awesome move-in weekend and the first taste of college for Ansley and company.
More images and detail after the break…The move-in itself couldn’t have been a more different experience for both siblings. Emory had it down pat, with move in helpers and organization that UCLA could only dream of. Within minutes we were in the new room ready to deck the place out with signature swag, and you best believe that we claimed the best bed and set-up before anyone else even had the chance.

And then she was gone, not gonna lie, I got real emotional. But sadness aside, I’m so excited for my little sister to start her college experience, and I know she is going to have a blast at her new school.

Fantastic photographs and text Graham. Feel as though I was there. Her space looks great!! To round out this program we have to get Ansley to start a blog as well! Thanks for sharing.
Awwwww….Ansley Emoryberger in her new surroundings! Thanks for sharing the pictures. Of course you secured the best bed and desk first, Ansley. Way follow the Elliott-Unterberger life philosophy of “You snooze, You lose” or “Make me first or give me Death.” Enjoy every moment! XOXO
LIL JUS! I love this post. As my new PYSC professor would say, “for two reasons, one obvious and one less so”. The obvious reason is that the photos are fantastic. The not so obvious reason is that it’s all about me. Okay, maybe those are both obvious, but I just wanted to seem cool and quote my professor. I miss you all so so much. Even, if I don’t start my own blog, I will definitely be sending photo updates! I love you all!!
Made me cry AGAIN!!! Damn it!
It was fun wasn’t it? And with the “The Most Interesting Family” team on the job how could it not go like butter? Send MORE, MORE, MORE.
Your mom shared this with me & it was wonderful! Graham should have become a Journalist! Pics are fantastic. Ok not going to lie…seeing your mom hugging Ans put tears to my eyes too! So happy & excited for everyone! Thanks for sharing (or letting your mom share!) Keep on Blogging!
Thanks for such kind words Trudy, I’m glad you enjoyed it!
