Compliments of Jehad, Lauren and I got to visit New Yankee Stadium, and witness the Bronx Bombers beat up on the Mariners. It was rad to see the new stadium (comparing it to the old one we visited 2 years ago), and I loved how the park still had that old-school feel. When we arrived, CC was throwing a perfect game, but halfway through the 6th inning mother nature started dumping. The game was delayed for 45 minutes, and it being in NY, most of the fans had headed home by the time the covers came off. We gutted it out for 20 more minutes before the heavens opened up again, but by that point the perfect game was out of reach. All is well though, because I got to pretend to be an east-coaster and suffer through a weather delay, something completely foreign to this California kid.
